LinguiLot Refund and Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and refund rules for LinguiLot Premium Monthly and Premium Annual subscriptions.

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to subscriptions purchased directly through LinguiLot.
LinguiLot is operated by Acquire A Lot LLC.
1. Subscription Renewal
LinguiLot Premium Monthly and Premium Annual subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled.
The applicable price, billing period, and renewal information are displayed before checkout.
2. Canceling Your Subscription
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing management feature available from your LinguiLot account, including the Stripe Customer Portal where applicable.
Cancellation stops the next automatic renewal.
Unless otherwise required by law, your Premium access will continue until the end of the billing period you already paid for.
You will not be charged for another billing period after a cancellation has taken effect.
3. Cancel Before the Renewal Date
To avoid a renewal charge, cancel your subscription before its scheduled renewal.
If a payment has already been processed before cancellation becomes effective, that payment is subject to the refund rules below.
4. General Refund Rule
Subscription charges are generally non-refundable and non-prorated once properly charged.
We do not normally provide refunds or account credits merely because:
- you did not use the Service;
- you used the Service less than expected;
- you forgot to cancel before a renewal;
- you stopped using the account before the billing period ended.
This general rule is subject to applicable law and the exceptions described below.
5. Refunds We Will Provide
We will refund or correct a payment where appropriate if:
- you were charged more than once for the same LinguiLot subscription period because of a billing error;
- LinguiLot charged you after a cancellation that was properly completed before the applicable renewal deadline;
- we identify a material billing error attributable to LinguiLot;
- applicable law requires a refund.
6. Other Refund Requests
If you believe exceptional circumstances justify a refund, contact:
as soon as reasonably possible after the charge.
Acquire A Lot LLC may consider other refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
Granting a discretionary refund in one situation does not require us to provide the same refund in unrelated circumstances.
We may deny refund requests involving fraud, repeated refund abuse, chargeback abuse, or material violations of the LinguiLot Terms of Service, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
7. How to Request a Refund
Email:
Include:
- the email address associated with your LinguiLot account;
- approximate date of the charge;
- the subscription involved;
- a brief explanation of the request.
Do not send your full card number, security code, bank password, or other sensitive payment credentials.
We may request reasonable verification before acting on a billing request.
8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are normally returned through the original payment method using Stripe or the applicable payment provider.
After LinguiLot initiates a refund, the time required for the funds to appear depends on the financial institution and payment network.
9. Effect of a Refund on Access
A full refund may result in the related paid Premium entitlement ending.
However, if your account has another valid source of access, such as Book Bonus, that separate access may continue.
10. Book Bonus
Book Bonus access does not involve a recurring LinguiLot subscription charge and has no cash value.
Book Bonus access cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded as a LinguiLot subscription payment.
11. Books Purchased from Amazon or Other Retailers
Books displayed in LinguiLot may be purchased through independent external retailers.
LinguiLot's Refund and Cancellation Policy does not govern purchases completed through Amazon, Audible, or another external retailer.
Contact the applicable retailer regarding a return, refund, cancellation, shipping problem, or other retail transaction.
12. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you believe a LinguiLot charge is incorrect, we encourage you to contact support@linguilot.com before initiating a payment dispute so we can investigate.
Fraudulent payment activity, abusive disputes, or repeated misuse may result in suspension of the associated paid entitlement or account after review.
Nothing in this section limits rights you have under applicable payment or consumer law.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may modify this Policy for future transactions.
Material changes affecting an existing recurring subscription will be communicated where required by applicable law.
